Our physicians are experienced in a variety of in-office procedures to help diagnose, manage and treat a wide variety of gynecologic problems. All of the procedures listed below are done in our office. Not only do they offer excellent results, but they do so at your convenience and at a fraction of the cost associated with the operating room.
We are now offering anesthesia in our office through Mobile Anesthesiologists of the Carolinas. By offering this to our patients, we are allowing procedures that were previously performed in the hospital or surgi-center to be performed safely and effectively in our office, examples are ablations, sterilizations, hysteroscopies and many others. Having these procedures done in our office with mobile anesthesia is safe, and should cost significantly less than having the procedure performed at the hospital or surgi-center. Greenville Women's Clinic is currently the only OB/GYN office in Greenville offering in office anesthesia.

Why suffer through heavy or unpredictable menses when treatment is effective, affordable and convenient? Our physicians can perform endometrial ablations under local anesthesia with minimal oral sedation required. An endometrial ablation destroys the cells inside the uterus responsible for heavy bleeding. It has over a 90% satisfaction rate and bleeding is markedly decreased, if not entirely eliminated. Ask your provider if endometrial ablation is right for you, or visit these sights below.

Abnormal bleeding caused by polyps and fibroids can not only be troublesome; it can be dangerous. Office hysteroscopy allows us to see, with a very small camera, the inside of the uterus to help evaluate and treat abnormal bleeding. This procedure can be done easily and with minimal discomfort.
LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedure) is used in the evaluation or treatment of an abnormal pap test. LEEP procedure removes abnormal cells from the cervix. We offer this in our office to maximize your convinience and your comfort. For more information, visit the following link: http://www.acog.org/publications/patient_education/bp110.cfm
Mirena and Paragard IUDs:
Looking for effective, easy but reversible contraception? An IUD may be your best bet. We offer two different types of IUDs in our office. The Mirena is an intrauterine device used as birth control or in the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding. Mirena slowly releases small amounts of progesterone, a naturally occurring hormone, directly to the uterus. Mirena lasts for 5 years and may also be removed before this time. It is over 99% effective in preventing pregnancy. For more information, visit http://www.mirena-us.com/index.jsp
The ParaGard is a hormone-free intrauterine device. ParaGard works by preventing sperm from reaching and fertilizing the egg. ParaGard IUD can be used for up to 10 years. Because it is hormone-free, it may be used by women who either cannot or do not want to use hormonal birth control. It is over 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.
