Infertility

Infertility is defined as the inability for a couple to become pregnant after 12 months of unprotected, well-timed intercourse. Infertility may be due to problems in the woman, man or a combination of both. The ability for a couple to become pregnant depends on several factors in both the male and female partners. Often there are no signs or symptoms associated with an infertility problem. Listening to your body and getting regular checkups will help to detect a problem.

If you’re having trouble conceiving, you know how frustrating and worrisome it can be. At Greenville Women’s Clinic we understand, and approach your situation with compassion and sensitivity. We’ll educate you about infertility and provide an initial evaluation.

Following a thorough physical exam and a complete investigation into your medical history, our doctors can make recommendations to restore your fertility. If fertility restoration is not an option, we are experienced in artificial insemination procedures and can refer you for in vitro fertilization.
